National Festivals are the festivals which are important for every Indian. People celebrate it with enthusiasm and zeal. These national festivals remind India as a united nation. People irrespective of their caste, creed, community, gender, and authenticity came together and enjoy the festivity. Various National Festivals are as follows:

Gandhi Jayanti: Annually Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on the 2nd of October. It marked the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi; he had a big role behind the Independence of India. For his contribution towards our nation he is memorized as “Father of Nation. Gandhi Jayanti is a national holiday, on this day political leaders and other famous faces pay their tribute towards Gandhi Ji.

Independence Day: On 15th August 1947, India got independence from Britishers. Since then we celebrated Independence Day on the 15th of August. The day reminds the sacrifices of our freedom fighters for giving us a secure future. Flag hoisting ceremonies, cultural programmes, kite competitions, and other events are observed on this day throughout the country. People take part in Independence Day celebrations with zeal.

Republic Day: Annually 26th January is celebrated as Republic Day in India. The event reminds the journey of our constitution. Republic Day Parade, flag hoisting ceremonies, cultural programme, Armed Forces tribute, and similar events are observed on Republic Day.
