Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Why does India Need Cleanliness Campaign?

If we talk about some important global problems, pollution comes first to them. Pollution has taken over the entire world and also our India. It is one and the most important problem blocking the path of development of India. Littering everywhere, dirty rivers and other bodies, dirty monuments, these create a lot of problems for the nation. All these paved the path to a cleanliness campaign for the people of India as a whole.

Because littering is common and spread throughout the country, and we all share in it, so there was an urgent need for a collective cleanliness movement at the earliest. The illiteracy, lack of awareness, the insensitiveness of people to cleanliness becomes the cause of filth in public places. Rivers like Ganga, Yamuna, and others which are worshipped as a goddess in India, have become polluted and lost their legacy. Isn’t this cruel of our nature?

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is like a mass awareness programme. It has brought people together for cleaning their surroundings and taking the matter seriously. Because Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a digital program, it will reach every corner of the country through the Internet. Now it depends on us how sensitive we are about cleanliness in our future.
