Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Success Stories of Few Villages/Cities

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan by the government of India brought a major change in the Indian economy. It changed the way how the entire world used to see towards India. Surely, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was successful, but it was not all instant. There was a small and continuous growth of the Indian states, cities, towns, and villages.

Navlewadi, a village of Maharashtra ran a lack of water resources for a long time. With the help of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the government set up pipelines of freshwater and installed many water tanks there. Now the people have no more problems with water.

Gujarat has been on the front in being clean under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. It could become possible because there are seven villages in Gujarat where people constructed household toilets and made their village open defecation free. Koraput village of Odisha falls under the backward villages. Even with the lack of facilities, the Koraput village decided to be open defecation free and proved it too.

There was a shocking incident from Darora village of Uttar Pradesh. Children here, under the age of 10, started cleaning their village and inspiring others to clean their surroundings. It is not less than a motivation for us. Like these few stories, there are uncountable stories around the map of India. These are reasons for making Swachh Bharat Abhiyan successful.
